ANALOG VS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Sabbatical trip #1 August 20th-27th
This trip was an exploration of landscape photography around the Great Lakes Region using a variety of film and digital cameras. Follow my additional two visual journeys on the page below. On my first trip I focused on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan from the upper parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. All photos will be offered in limited editions and are for sale!
The two photos on the left are from Grand Portage, MN, a far northern area. Photo #1 was taken with a digital mirrorless camera and photo #2 on the right is a gelatin silver print taken with a Holga camera.
ANALOG VS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTINUES
Sabbatical trip #2 September 12th- September 18th
This is a continuation of my artistic exploration of the Great Lakes. I traveled up through Michigan to explore the sites of Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Here are 2 photos that I captured. The first is taken with a DSLR and the second photo with a wide polaroid.
ANALOG VS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY FINALE
Sabbatical Trip #3 October 2nd-8th
This was the final leg of my sabbatical that finished my photographic exploration (for now) of the Great Lakes landscape where I documented the greatness of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. It was an incredible opportunity to engage with nature that I will always treasure. It is my hope that the photos I made give you some sense of the awesomeness that exists in the waters of the Great Lakes.
